Originally from Lafayette, LA, Dr. Jean Ancelet earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport and his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Ancelet completed his residency in Lake Charles, where he was awarded the Department of Family Medicine Chairman’s Award. Dr. Ancelet has been practicing fundamental comprehensive primary and preventative care for more than 10 years.

Dr. Ancelet is eager to be back in Shreveport and even enjoy some hunting and fishing with his family.
