CHRISTUS Donates Schumpert Hospital Campus to Benefit LSU Health Shreveport

CHRISTUS Health Northern Louisiana has donated the CHRISTUS Schumpert Hospital campus to the local non-profit group Margaret Place Properties, Inc. This 501(c)(3) was formed to support LSU Health Shreveport through the management of donated property to provide an efficient, cost-effective and integrated health care campus for the residents of Northwest Louisiana.

New tools are helping patients become more actively involved in their care and maintaining their health, according to results of the 19th Annual Health Care’s Most Wired® survey, released today by the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Health Forum.

CHRISTUS Health Launches New Brand in South America

CHRISTUS Health and Coomeva Cooperative Medica (Coomeva) announced the new identity and name for their Colombian health care system.  Executives from both companies, community leaders, Associates and the Colombia media were on hand for the afternoon unveiling. 

Agreement Signed to Sell Lake Area Medical Center to CHRISTUS Health

Lake Area Medical Center announced today it will soon become affiliated with CHRISTUS Health through an acquisition agreement that includes the sale of the hospital and its associated assets. CHRISTUS Health also operates CHRISTUS St. Patrick Health System in Lake Charles.
