The new technology is a novel application of lithotripsy, an approach that uses sonic pressure waves to safely break up kidney stones. As we have gradually allowed more access to our hospitals and other facilities, we are preparing to take another small step toward our new normal. Effective Monday, May 17, 2021, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas will move from human screeners to signage-based screening, allowing visitors to check their own symptoms.
