Culinary Health Education for Families (CHEF) is a program that teaches children and families practical nutrition and basic cooking skills with the long-term goal of motivating individuals and communities to adopt and sustain healthier eating habits.

CHEF classes and recipes were designed by culinary leaders and registered dietitians of The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.  Classes are offered at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio and include a nutrition lesson, culinary demonstration, and hands-on cooking.
