Serving as Medical Director for CHRISTUS Neuroscience Institute, Dr. Galvan began his medical career as a registered nurse, going on to become one of San Antonio's longstanding and most-qualified neurosurgeons. He strongly believes in empowering patients with all the tools, resources and information available to help make informed decisions. Board certified, Dr. Galvan supports utilizing all conservative measures before surgical options are even considered, incorporating a minimally invasive approach whenever possible to help patients quickly return to a better quality of life.
