CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Adds Cardiology Expert to Serve Longview Patients September 10, 2018

Longview, TX – Patients seeking award-winning cardiology services have yet another award-winning option with the addition of Christopher Boylan, M.D., to the CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic team in Longview.

“CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, Dr. Boylan and the everyone on the CHRISTUS Good Shepherd teams are dedicated to providing excellent, compassionate care to the people of this area,” said Susan Cooper, Administrative Director of CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Cardiology in Longview. “At CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Cardiology, our specialists always put the patient first. But ensuring the best care for the patient requires a team approach. Appropriate and effective treatment of cardiovascular disease includes input from primary care physicians, cardiac specialists, technicians, nurses, dietitians and therapists – all focused on one goal: helping patients regain their health.”

Dr. Boylan joins the CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Cardiology team from his position as an instructor of medical residents in conjunction with CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center. He has worked in Longview previously, and is returning to serve patients in the area. Dr. Boylan also practiced medicine in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, as well as in East Texas, prior to his role as a teacher. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

“We have an outstanding team here, and Dr. Boylan brings an outstanding attitude, unparalleled expertise and an incredible skill set to the patients and communities we serve,” said Cooper. “He will be an invaluable asset to CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic and an important resource in offering the highest levels of care to our patients in this community.”

“As a cardiologist, I love being able to help patients and affect their lives quickly, and I also have a very simple philosophy on patient care: I treat my patients as I would want myself and my family to be treated,” said Dr. Boylan. “Cardiovascular diseases and conditions affect millions of people across the United States and at even higher rates in Northeast Texas. Knowing your risks, recognizing signs and symptoms, and seeking appropriate medical help is crucial – and I am here to help.”
