CHRISTUS Good Shepherd to Host “Remembering Our Babies” Event Oct. 15

In honor of National Prematurity Awareness Day, October 15, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health System will host this reflective event to aid in the remembrance and healing for families who have experienced this loss. The event is open to the community and/or anyone who has experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.

September 21 is National Concussion Awareness Day

During fall in East Texas, youth sports is a popular pastime, and medical specialists say participants, parents and coaches should be very aware of the potential and potential hazards of concussions. Children with undiagnosed concussions are at risk for another one and longer recovery times.
