Longview, TX – CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Longview welcomes Erika McDaniel, FNP-C, to its team of internal medicine providers committed to patient centered care.
“We recognize patients want to feel like they’re a priority and at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic patient care is managed with a sincere amount of integrity and responsibility,” said Shanna Konvalin, CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Administrative Director. “We are excited for Ms. McDaniel to join the team and feel she will be a tremendous help in our journey toward those goals.”
McDaniel embraces the challenges and advantages of working in internal medicine. “Working day to day in internal medicine is rewarding and challenging, but I love the anticipation of the job because no day is the same as the next. I enjoy these experiences and helping the adult population here and in surrounding East Texas areas,” said McDaniel.
McDaniel received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She grew up in Carthage, Texas, located southeast of Dallas. As the daughter of a nurse, she was introduced to nursing at a young age. In high school she realized her love of science and decided to pursue a career in nursing. Family support positively impacted her life and put her on the path to achieve her goals.
She chose nursing because it combines patient centered care and medicine.
“I am passionate about providing holistic patient centered care that’s evidence based and providing good quality outcomes,” said McDaniel. “The treatment I provide considers the entire state of the patient by examining the most reliable research and observing patient responses to produce better results.”
Erika McDaniel, FNP-C, is now accepting patients at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic - Longview, located at 703 E. Marshall Avenue, Ste. 1001. To book an appointment call 903.606.DOCS.
