September 11, 2019
Longview, Texas – As fall sports seasons hit the field, injuries are just part of the game. To help students get the care they need to get back in the game, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health System in partnership with Longview Clinic Orthopaedic Association is providing a free sports-injury clinic to student athletes in the Longview area.
From now until Nov. 9, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd and Longview Orthopaedic Clinic Association will host a FREE sports injury clinic every Saturday, from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd NorthPark Medical Plaza, located at 323 E. Hawkins Parkway in Longview.
“Sports medicine and orthopedic providers will evaluate student athletes of all ages for their sports-related injuries,” said CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Sports Medicine Coordinator Megan Wade.
“We can examine and diagnose athletes in an environment set up specifically for their convenience and comfort,” says Longview Orthopaedic Clinic Association physician Charles E. Grooters, M.D. “We know that no one wants to miss time on the sidelines with an injury, and it is our goal to help our student athletes get healthy and get back into the game.”
