Patient and Visitor Information

For your safety and comfort as well as that of your family and visitors, the following general visitation guidelines are in effect. All Good Shepherd Health System facilities, inside and out, are tobacco-free environments. Because we are committed to improving quality of life and providing safe and healthy surroundings for patients, visitors and employees, please refrain from tobacco use while visiting.

  • General visiting hours are 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily, unless otherwise noted
  • Lobby entrance is open from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily
  • Emergency Room entrance is open 24 hours a day
  • After 9 p.m. entry is available only through Emergency Room
  • Persons with permission to spend the night will be issued an identification badge by the nursing unit; badge color changes daily, so a new badge must be requested for each night you plan to stay with a patient
  • In the Postanesthesia Care Unit, there is no visitation except for two parents/guardians of children under 12 years of age, at the nurse’s discretion
