Jayesh Patel, MD, MBA, is a sports medicine fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeon and the chief of orthopedics at CHRISTUS Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic in Tyler. Dr. Patel completed his medical education at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. Following his time in Ohio, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a sports medicine fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Houston. Dr. Patel is board-certified in orthopedic surgery, demonstrating his proficiency and adherence to the highest standards in the field.
Dr. Patel specializes in orthopedic procedures, including shoulder arthroplasty, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, and ACL reconstruction, as well as addressing complex meniscus and ligament injuries.
