Melissa Svoboda is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Svoboda received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, TX. She completed a predoctoral research fellowship in Autism at Johns Hopkins/Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. Her Pediatrics Residency was done at University Hospital/The Children's of San Antonio, San Antonio, TX, and her Child Neurology/Neurodevelopmental Disabilities fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, OR.
Dr. Svoboda specializes in Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, and other Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. She is Medical Director of The Children's Hospital of San Antonio Autism Program. She also serves as The Children's Hospital of San Antonio Director of the San Antonio Applied Behavior Analysis Project, and on the Board of Directors of the Autism Treatment Center.
