Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana – From women’s services to chronic disease management, a family medicine provider has a tremendous impact on the lives of their patients. That’s why CHRISTUS Primary Care Associates - Shreveport-Bossier is pleased to welcome Kelly Toups, APRN-BC, CFNP, to their talented team at 1460 E. Bert Kouns, Ste. 700, in Shreveport.

“Our patients depend on their primary care providers to listen and understand them, and then to work together toward a healthy lifestyle and an improved quality of life. At CHRISTUS Primary Care Associates - Shreveport-Bossier, our patients are our priority and we work hard to make sure they are taken care of,” said Lisa Britt, Vice President, Physician Practice Operations, CHRISTUS Physician Group. “We are thrilled for Kelly to join our team, and we look forward to the impact she can make on behalf of the people of this community.”

Toups has more than 15 years of experience in family practice and urgent care, treating the entire family – from children to geriatric patients – in the clinic setting. She is a lifelong resident of the Shreveport area and has lived and served patients here since she began practicing medicine in 2003.

“My goal is truly to individualize the care that I provide to meet every health care need I can for my patients in order to improve their quality of life,” said Toups. “I take pride taking an open and non-judgmental approach with my patients to aid in diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic diseases while focusing on wellness and disease prevention.”
