“Miracle Babies” Invited to 35th Annual Reunion at CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System

Shreveport, Louisiana – CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System is once again calling all “miracle babies,” who have overcome the odds of prematurity and challenges in developmental in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the annual NICU Reunion.
The event will be Sunday, July 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the West Wing 3rd Floor Conference Center, located on the CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center (1453 E. Bert Kouns, Shreveport). This will be the 35th annual reunion for the nurses, physicians, parents and patients.
Ranging from a few months to their mid-twenties, the NICU alumni and their families will reunite with the nurses, doctors and other clinical staff who helped them survive prematurity, challenges in development and critical illness at birth. Families meet with fellow parents, reunite with hospital staff, scour scrapbooks, take photos and enjoy refreshments.
The reunion will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the West Wing 3rd Floor Conference Center, located at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center – 1453 E. Bert Kouns, Shreveport. All NICU graduates are invited to attend. For easy access, attendees are asked to use the West Wing lobby entrance located just past the emergency room entrance.
