(Beaumont, TX, August 27, 2020) – Following Hurricane Laura’s landfall, we are pleased to report that, overall, our facilities fared well during the storm. We continue to assess and document any minor damage that needs repair.
“Although we have prepared many times for the potential impact and aftermath of major storms, it is always a rigorous and intense process,” said Paul Trevino, President & CEO of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System. “We thank and commend our Associates and physicians for their outstanding work and endurance during this storm to ensure we could meet the medical needs of our community.”
At this time, we are still restricting visitor access, meaning NO visitors are allowed in our facilities. Requests for exceptions must receive nurse administrative director approval.
