Our Approach

The physicians and staff of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Lung Care Center provides comprehensive programs that offer our patients care that is unparalleled. Our Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screen detects symptoms before any show. 

Our cancer screening includes:

  • A non-invasive approach
  • Low radiation
  • A dramatic increase of the chance of detecting even the smallest tumors 

Patients that should seriously consider being screened for lung cancer include:

  • Current or former smokers (those who have quit in the past 15 years)
  • Individuals who are 55 to 77 years old
  • Individuals who have a smoking history of at least 30 years
  • Individuals who have no history of lung cancer
