The health and safety of our communities remain top priority as we continue to work tirelessly to minimize the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We are actively taking measures in doing this by carefully screening each patient for covid symptoms before they enter our facility, having our healthcare workers wear masks, and sanitizing all of our work areas with hospital-grade disinfectant. If you are ill with fever, cough or shortness of breath or have been exposed to a person with suspected or confirmed COVID symptoms, call 1-800-458-4559 to be connected to our CHRISTUS COVID Hotline. Volunteer

CHRISTUS Southeast Health System is an exciting place to volunteer. Volunteers come from all walks of life and bring their unique talents to the hospital. There are a variety of volunteer placements. Each placement requires a slightly different set of skills and each is equally important.  High School students may participate in a summer program to earn service hours.

Foundation

Upon the request of Father M. P. McSourley, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word of the Diocese of Galveston agreed to establish a hospital in Beaumont, Texas, in 1896.
