Our Approach

We are the first in the area to offer surgeons and patients fluorescence imaging during robotic surgeries. Fluorescence imaging enables surgeons to use a special video camera and glowing dye to view blood flowing in vessels, and tissue or bile moving through ducts during minimally invasive surgical procedures. Fluorescence imaging allows healthy structures to appear green but those without blood flow to appear gray.

Robotic-assisted surgeries treat the following conditions:

General Surgery

  • Bariatric - Weight Loss Surgery
  • Biliary surgery
  • Esophageal cancer
  • Gastric cancer
  • Heller's Myotomy for Achalasia
  • Hiatal Hernia repair
  • Nissen for GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
  • Pancreatic resection

  • Hysterectomy
  • Single Site

  • Bladder cancer
  • Colorectal cancer
  • Kidney cancer
  • Prostate cancer
  • Rectal prolapse

Robotic surgery may offer patients benefits such as:

  • A shorter hospital stay
  • Less blood loss
  • Fewer complications
  • Less need for narcotic pain medicine
  • A faster recovery
  • Smaller incisions associated with minimal scarring
