Alexandria, Louisiana – CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Health System has received a ROARING 10 company ranking by Louisiana State University. CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini is ranked number three on the ROARING 10 list, which is comprised of the ten highest revenue generating LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses in the world.

He has oversight of CHRISTUS Health ministries in Louisiana and Southeast Texas, including CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini, CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System, CHRISTUS Southwestern Louisiana Health System and CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System.
“My parents, George and Moonlee Karam, always stressed the importance of a college education to me and my four siblings, George, Jeannette, Tommy and David; LSU played a part in all of our college education. Dad and Mom loved LSU and were so proud of being Louisianans. To be recognized by LSU in this very special group is really an honor,” said Chris Karam.
In acknowledging the recognition, Karam shared how grateful he is to have the opportunity to lead CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Health System; carrying out the mission of the founding sisters started 150 years ago. CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini was incorporated into the mission 70 years ago. He credits the 2,000 associates and 300 plus physicians and the care they are providing daily at CHRISTUS Cabrini.
“This award really goes to those dedicated individuals. I’m thankful to LSU for helping me develop the skills and experiences needed for this very special role.”
Under Karam’s leadership, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas, was named number four on the 2019 ROARING 10 list.
“Blessed-I’m truly blessed. How many folks can have the opportunity to lead a great organization where they were raised and better yet, in the hospital where they were born? Thank you, LSU, for the recognition of all that CHRISTUS Cabrini is,” said Karam.
