Three Central Goals Drive our Organizational Focus
Health care quality and patient’s safety - As you on board with our various teams, you should regularly hear terms like “high-reliability organization”, “zero harm” and “safety measures first”. For CHRISTUS Cabrini, we have adopted Disney Organizations philosophy of "Stop the Ride" if a concern is raised around safety. As we strive to become a High Reliability Organization (HRO), a key component is where anyone can professionally and appropriately question an action if a patient is at risk. Underlining these commitments is our desire to measure and benchmark where we are today so we can be transparent with those entrusting us with their medical care tomorrow. I believe measurement helps us learn and raise the standard as we advance in the care we provide from year-to-year.
Create an optimal environment for patient care - We believe that fostering an environment where employees and physicians enjoy practicing together and are supported in their roles by good systems and processes is vital to our success. The proven link between employee and physician satisfaction with patient satisfaction drives our focus on the environment of care. We only get one chance to make a lasting first impression that will lead to longevity of loyalty for generations. We want ours to be a positively memorable one.
Benefit patient care and community outreach efforts - Finally, we believe our patients need and deserve a strong and financially secure hospital that boasts advanced technology and has the resources necessary to achieve the mission. Thus, the third organizational focus is on profitability and wise use of resources to benefit patient care and community outreach efforts.
