Patrick Carrier has been elected to the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Hospital Association October 11, 2016

Patrick Carrier, President and Chief Executive Officer of CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Hospital Association on Wednesday, 28 September 2016, during their Annual Meeting and Assembly held in Albuquerque, NM. NMHA is the leader in developing public policy and addressing issues that affect the health of the citizens of New Mexico.

Mr. Carrier’s term of service began on 28 September 2016 and will run until 27 September 2017. He is currently completing a term for a previous Board member who had to step down early from his term of service.

With this new appointment, Mr. Carrier is enthusiastic about contributing to the important strategic work of the New Mexico Hospital Association and to be a continued voice for the critical work of our state healthcare industry and to provide the highest quality of care for our community and the surrounding regions. Mr. Carrier continues to serve on the NMHA Finance Committee which has been directly involved in communicating with our State Government on important public policy issues such as the State Medicaid budget and protecting access to care.
