CHRISTUS St. Vincent associate chief information officer Alison McIntosh was born in England and raised in southern California before moving to Santa Fe at the age of 10.

As a high school student, Alison volunteered at CHRISTUS St. Vincent as a candy striper and continued to work at the hospital as an EKG tech while obtaining an Associate of Science in Nursing from Santa Fe Community College. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.

For 14 years, Alison worked as a bedside nurse, including nine years at Children’s Hospital - Oakland in the hospital’s oncology, medical-surgical and emergency medicine units.

In 2010, Alison returned to CHRISTUS St. Vincent as an ER clinical supervisor. From there, she transitioned to clinical informatics, swiftly advancing to manager and director roles prior to assuming the position of associate chief information officer.
