She has extensive experience in the areas of early childhood, school age children, adolescent, adult behavioral health, and senior care. Her areas of expertise include organizational development, program development, and public health.
Kathy has a deep personal and professional commitment to improving the health and well-being of people by assuring that they are treated as “whole” persons; truly recognizing that people are more than just a medical condition or a client receiving a service. It takes more than health care services for people to lead happy, healthy lives. She believes that communities have resources to build upon including health care, safety net programs, faith communities, family supports and most important, people who care. Having the opportunity to do this work in her own community brings her great professional satisfaction.
