Phil is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Columbia Business School, in addition to Georgetown University.
Prior to moving to Santa Fe, Phil lived in Connecticut and Washington, D.C., for nearly thirty years where he pursued a career in many areas of institutional investments, including service as a member of his employer’s Pension Investment Committee. He then returned to his alma mater, Georgetown University, as a Development Officer where he helped raise funds for a new $75M business school facility. Following the groundbreaking, he and his wife, Joan, moved to the southwest.
Phil joined the Board of the SVH Foundation in 2006 and was elected Chair this past July 2016. As Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee, he worked closely with Robert Glick to develop a strategic plan and then to help the Hospital identify a project that would both support the Hospital’s needs and excite prospective donors; the outcome was the Frost Pavilion. He is also a member of the Foundation's Executive and Finance Committees. Phil has been a dedicated member of the Foundation's Board and we look forward to the benefit of his expertise on the Hospital Board.
