Childbirth Education Classes
A 4 week series Childbirth Preparation class for first time parents includes information on breathing, relaxation, stages of labor and what to expect, labor support, birth options and breastfeeding basics. Wear comfortable loose clothing, bring water, and a snack. The class is held on Mondays from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the Medical Records Conference Room at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, 455 St. Michaels Dr. Classes are taught by a certified Childbirth Educator.

The fee for the class is $80.00. A hospital tour is included. Max capacity per each 4 week series is limited to 6 couples. Registration is required prior to the start date for the desired series.
Our Saturday morning class provides information on breastfeeding, latch and potential breastfeeding challenges. The class is held from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturdays and is taught by a Hospital Lactation Consultant.
Breastfeeding classes will be held in the Vernick Conference Room. The fee is $30.00.

Free Hospital Labor and Delivery Tours
Free tours of the hospital’s Labor and Delivery area will be held the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 – 10:30 am from the visitor waiting area on the third floor.
