The trauma center at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Tyler has been verified as a Level II Trauma Center by the Verification Review Committee (VRC), an ad hoc committee of the Committee on Trauma (COT) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This achievement recognizes the trauma center's dedication to providing optimal care for injured patients.

Tyler Opens Expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

The new NICU includes a host of new technology and features which include private patient rooms (28 total) with advanced light and sound control systems to create a more soothing environment. There are new overnight accommodations for parents, as well as double-capacity private rooms will allow twins to stay together.

Sulphur Springs Investing in Education and Training to Reduce Maternal Deaths

 CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs joins more than 200 Texas hospitals to reduce pregnancy-related deaths and complications through the TexasAIM program. Hospitals statewide are coming together to reduce the number of deaths due to obstetric hemorrhage, one of the most common causes of death and injury in the days immediately after pregnancy.
