CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Sports Medicine Presents Football Camp With Super Bowl Champion and John Tyler Alumnus Aaron Ross July 5, 2016

TYLER, TX – Area athletes ages 8-17 will have the chance to learn football-specific skills from John Tyler Lion and two-time Super Bowl champion Aaron Ross during his free annual Football Camp on July 16, at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.

“This camp is a great opportunity for young people to learn technique and gain motivation from a local legend and Super Bowl winner,” said James Rapp, MS, ATC, LAT, Director of Sports Medicine at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. “Aaron Ross has been coming back to East Texas for years helping young athletes to hone their skills and become stronger players and better young men and women. CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System has always been invested in our communities, and we are incredibly proud to be involved with this camp and to be able to help out the young athletes in our area.”

“Playing in college, winning a Super Bowl and making it all the way to the top of the National Football League would not have been possible without the right attitude and training, starting at an early age,” said Ross. “Putting in the work now, giving maximum effort and learning how to play the game the right way will help players of every skill level and age to improve – and getting better every day is what it’s all about.”

The Aaron Ross Football Camp will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium. It is presented free of charge, and all athletes will receive lunch and an official camp T-shirt.
