CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Neuroscience Institute Pain Center Celebrates Jacksonville Expansion March 11, 2019

Jacksonville, Texas, March 11, 2019 – The CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Neuroscience Institute Pain Center officially opened its new expansion at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Jacksonville during a recently held blessing ceremony. Patients, hospital administrators, community leaders, Associates and pastoral care staff joined physicians, nurses and their team during the grand opening celebration.

After breaking ground over the summer, the Pain Center has essentially doubled in size. The expansion includes an interior renovation of 1,400 square feet of the existing clinic that added four new exam rooms. The new addition to the facility covers more than 4,000 square feet and includes an overhaul of the waiting room setup, two new pain procedure rooms and eight recovery bays with the accompanying nurses’ station.

“The Pain Center and its physicians Peter Sirianni, M.D., and Christopher Sirianni, M.D., and their staff are a well-loved department of the organization and have been treating pain management patients for many years,” said Anne Pileggi, CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances - Jacksonville Administrator. “In fact, their skill and expertise are what led us to this needed expansion – and now we look forward to being able to meet the demand and handle the volume of patients seeking treatment at this facility.”

The Pain Center is well known in the East Texas region for its comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to easing suffering and improving the quality of life of people living with pain. Both physicians are board-certified, fellowship/specialty-trained pain management experts that collaborate with neurologists; neurosurgeons; specialists in spine, stroke, and physical medicine and rehabilitation; and highly-trained nurses to provide a comprehensive range of treatments and a personalized program of care for each patient.

“I have worked at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System for about 22 years and have worked very hard to help build this interventional Pain Center here in Jacksonville,” said Dr. Peter Sirianni. “We have always focused on providing the very best experience we can for our patients, and that means providing high quality care in an environment that helps patients feel at ease with the process from start to finish. In this updated facility we are able to provide care more efficiently and our teams are better positioned to give our patients safe and effective treatment.”

Dr. Christopher Sirianni joined his father in practice over the summer, and their shared practice quickly overgrew the available space and capacity of the old clinic, as expected.

“This expansion is something that really is great for our community,” said Dr. Christopher Sirianni. “It allows us to see a higher volume of patients each day, which is great. But, more importantly, it allows us to help more people to actually feel better. Our new waiting room offers increased privacy during registration, the exam rooms can be used during pre-op – really this place has been designed with the patients first in mind.”

“This facility is excellent, because it is focused on our patients,” said Dr. Peter Sirianni. “Their access to care, their privacy and their treatment is our priority – and we look forward to the future here.”
