Canton, Texas – Round-the-clock emergency care is now available at the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances HealthPark – Canton. The North Texas leaders will join officials, administration and caregivers to celebrate and tour the new facility during an open house and ribbon cutting set for July 1.
The new facility, which opens to patients at 8:00 a.m. on July 2, encompasses 7,650 square feet and serves as a full-scale emergency department onsite at the HealthPark, conveniently located just off of Interstate 20 near the exit for Edgewood Road. It features six exam rooms, one trauma room, a full-service imaging center including advanced imaging services and a laboratory for easier access to test results. The medical staff consists of certified Emergency Medicine physicians and nurses, who will join the specialty providers in cardiac, orthopedics, sleep and oncology that already see patients the HealthPark. The facility also contains CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic primary care providers, physical therapy suite, and the health and fitness center. The new Canton Emergency Care Center will also be accepting ambulance traffic, so patients can ask their ambulance providers if the new ER is the right place for their care.

We have added to this facility over time, increasing our footprint here in 2006, and today we are excited to complete the next step – emergency care available 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year.”

Construction began last year on the project, but patients and visitors to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances HealthPark - Canton were able to continue receiving care with uninterrupted service.
