Dr. Brandi Addison believes that medicine is a team effort between physician and patient, relying on open communication and good listening skills from both parties with a willingness to adjust.
As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Addison treats the body as an integrated whole. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Addison specializes in the treatment of diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and gestational), osteoporosis, thyroid disease, adrenal disease, pituitary disease, calcium abnormalities, obesity and metabolic syndrome. She also has special interest in thyroid disease and treating obstetric patients with endocrine disorders.
Dr. Addison received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and her osteopathic medical degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She completed her internal medicine residency at Corpus Christi Medical Center and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she served as chief fellow.
