Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Amy's focus in on internal medicine for adults. Her interests include chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, COPD and hyperlipidemia.

I know that I have been called into healthcare and every encounter I have with a patient is an opportunity for me to impact their lives in a positive manner. I believe in giving each patient the tools needed to take charge of their lives and, while working as a team, they can reach their optimum health.
