Dr. Mysti Schott is a South Texas native from Poteet, TX who grew up on a farm and working in her grandparent’s general store. She attended Northside Health Careers High School in San Antonio, graduated from Texas A&M University and then went to medical school at UT Southwestern. Dr. Schott completed her residency in the US Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base where she was also Chief Resident. She then completed her active duty tour at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base. She went on to work at UT Health San Antonio for 16 years as a physician, teacher, and informatics administrator with a focus on population health. Dr. Schott is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has been board certified in Internal Medicine for over 20 years. In addition to serving CHRISTUS patients as a primary care physician in the clinic, she is the Regional Medical Director of Clinical Informatics - South Texas for CHRISTUS Health System.
