CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic was founded to carry out scientific research and research projects in the public interest in the fields of medical sciences, medical economics, public health, sociology and related areas. As the Clinic grew in numbers of physicians and specialties represented, coupled with the implementation of the medical record, the dream of starting a clinical research department became a reality.
In 2003, the CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, Research (formerly the Office of Research Administration) was established to enhance community health through cutting edge medical research. Thanks to a generous grant sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System Foundation, the research department promotes and facilitates quality clinical research throughout the System.
This centralized research office performs clinical trial management activities to provide one-stop shopping for sponsors and investigators. Multiple Phase III and IV studies are currently being conducted.
The CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Research Department is staffed by Clinical Research Coordinators who have a thorough knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
The functions of the CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Research Department include:
- Provide investigator support
