Do you have specific hours for certain units? If so, what are they? Are there any tips/rules for visitors?
While we do not have specific visiting hours, for the safety of our staff and patients the front doors are locked daily at 9 p.m. and open at 6 a.m. All other hours, access is available through the Emergency Department.
CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System understands that having loved ones by your side can help with your healing and care. You have the right to choose and prioritize visitors from among family, friends, personal care aides or other individuals. You can also choose a support person to be present throughout your stay, unless that person’s presence affects your health or the rights or safety of other patients.
Friends and family should not visit if they exhibit any of the following:
- Signs and symptoms of the flu or flu-like illness:
- Fever >100 degrees with one of the following: – Runny nose – Cough – Sore throat – Upper respiratory infection – Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea – Fever within the last 24 hours
