COVID Hotline

The health and safety of our communities remain top priority as we continue to work tirelessly to minimize the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We are actively taking measures in doing this by carefully screening each patient for covid symptoms before they enter our facility, having our healthcare workers wear masks, and sanitizing all of our work areas with hospital-grade disinfectant. If you are ill with fever, cough or shortness of breath or have been exposed to a person with suspected or confirmed COVID symptoms, call 1-800-458-4559 to be connected to our CHRISTUS COVID Hotline. Our Approach

From treatment for disorders that threaten vision to routine eye exams, CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic - DeHaven Eye Center is dedicated to caring for the eyes of East Texans. Our team of physicians and staff believe in working together to share knowledge in order to arrive at the best care solutions for patients. Vision is invaluable, so we treat every pair of eyes as if they were our own.

Exams

Regular eye exams are the best way to protect your vision and keep your eyes healthy. DeHaven's doctors take pride in caring for the eyes of their patients and protecting the gift of healthy vision.

If your vision is stable, you should have an eye exam every two years. During this exam, your eyes will be dilated, your vision quality will be checked, and you will be screened for eye disorders such as glaucoma.

If your vision seems to change between routine exams, you should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Early detection and treatment of certain eye diseases and disorders can prevent loss of vision.
