CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – Alice establishes new midwifery program for comprehensive care

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – Alice is excited to announce the addition of a certified nurse midwife to its Women’s Clinic, providing more access to comprehensive health care.

“Nurse midwives are known for their deeply compassionate approach to women’s health, providing emotional support alongside clinical expertise throughout the intimate and vulnerable experiences of pregnancy, birth and women’s health needs,” said Sandra Golaszewski, DNP, APRN, certified nurse midwife with CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – Alice.

She brings years of experience and is focused on providing women in the Alice community with a holistic, patient-centered approach.

“Whether I’m sitting with a laboring mother, providing reassurance during a difficult pregnancy, or celebrating the joy of a new birth, I approach each interaction with my whole heart,” she said.

The CHRISTUS Spohn Women’s Clinic – Alice offers comprehensive health care services for girls and women. Services provided include preventative care, specialized prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care and treatment of gynecological concerns.

The clinic is located at 2520 E. Main St, Suite 206 and is open Monday through Thursday.
