CHRISTUS Health Unveils New, State-of-Art Headquarters in Irving

10/23/2023

CHRISTUS Health, an international Catholic, faith-based health system based here, unveiled a new, 15-story, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters on a 4.2-acre parcel in the heart of Las Colinas with a ribbon-cutting event Monday.

“This move is so much more than a new, physical location,” said Ernie Sadau, president and CEO of CHRISTUS Health. “This symbolizes our 150-year legacy in the communities we serve across Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, as well as Mexico, Colombia and Chile in Latin America. While we don’t have hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, it’s important to us to invest in our Associates who office here to support our ministries and their growth around the globe. We are doing this by providing them with a uniquely crafted space that not only better suits their needs, but also the needs of future Associates who will join us in living out our important mission.”

The 460,000-square-foot tower, which sits adjacent to a 10-story parking garage, will house about 2,000 CHRISTUS Health Associates who support the nonprofit health system from Irving. The new space offers amenities that were thoughtfully crafted with the health system’s legacy and purpose in mind to provide Associates with everything they need to live CHRISTUS Health’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

The new building will replace leased office space in Irving. Since CHRISTUS consolidated corporate offices in Las Colinas over a decade ago, the health system has grown from 30,000 to nearly 50,000 Associates in four countries and has expanded from 3.8 million to 7 million lives touched.

CHRISTUS Health is proud to partner with the City of Irving, the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and many others in North Texas.

“We are grateful to have such an important, integral organization in our community that is touching and changing lives every single day,” said Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer. “We are always looking for innovative ways to positively change and impact our city. CHRISTUS Health is leading this charge and setting a trend for other organizations beyond just health care. We are so proud to have CHRISTUS be part of our beautiful community.”

Real estate development firm Fidelis Healthcare Partners, an affiliate of Fidelis Realty Partners, led the site selection and pre-development planning and served as the developer. The Fidelis Healthcare team includes Kevin O’Neil and Mark Allyn with support from their partner Mark Fewin, leader of Guidon Project Solutions. The building was designed by BOKA Powell by a team led by Don Powell and Joe Hilliard. Manhattan Construction served as the construction firm on the project.
