CHRISTUS Children’s and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) are proud to celebrate Allison, a patient ambassador living with dysautonomia, by making a dream come true. A devoted Jonas Brothers fan, Allison attended the band’s concert in San Antonio on Oct. 18 with her siblings and mom, all courtesy of CMN Hospitals.
“Allison’s strength and spirit are an inspiration to our entire community,” Theo Meyer, director of philanthropy, CHRISTUS Children’s Foundation. “We’re grateful to CMN Hospitals for creating this joyful experience for one of our most passionate young ambassadors.”
Dysautonomia is a complex neurological condition that affects the autonomic nervous system, which regulates involuntary functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, and digestion. Despite the daily challenges it brings, Allison continues to inspire others with her resilience and positivity.
In addition to concert tickets, the family received VIP meet-and-greet passes, giving Allison the unforgettable opportunity to meet her favorite band in person.
“I’ve been a Jonas Brothers fan for years, so getting to see them live and actually meet them is something I’ll never forget,” said Allison. “It means so much to me and my family to have this kind of support. It’s been a tough journey but moments like this remind me that there’s so much joy and kindness in the world.”
CHRISTUS Children’s is a proud member of CMN Hospitals, working together to support pediatric patients and their families through compassionate care and meaningful partnerships.
