Country music icon Martina McBride to headline the 43rd CHRISTUS Gala

Four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year winner will lead a night of meaningful impact

Martina McBride will take center stage at the 43rd Annual CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation Gala on Sat., April 11, at the Beaumont Civic Center, 701 Main St., Beaumont, TX 77701.

Born and raised in Sharon, Kansas, McBride began performing at the age of seven with her family’s band before moving to Nashville in 1990 to pursue a career in country music. Signed by RCA in 1991, she released her debut album in 1992 and rose to fame with hits like “My Baby Loves Me” and “Independence Day.” Over her three-decade career, McBride has earned multiple CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year awards, sold millions of albums and become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Known for her powerful voice and songs with meaning, she continues to be a leading voice in country music and an advocate for women in the industry. In 2019, she was honored with the ACM Cliffie Stone Icon Award for her lasting impact on country music. In 2021, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled her exhibit, “The Power of Her Voice,” celebrating her extraordinary career.

Funds raised through the gala support critical lifesaving equipment and services at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System facilities.
