CHRISTUS Spohn Health System Announces Addition of South Texas Surgical Hospital to Enhance Patient Access to Quality Care

CHRISTUS Spohn Health System is excited to announce its expansion in the Coastal Bend, bringing even more high-quality clinicians and access to compassionate and integrated health care to the community.

South Texas Surgical Hospital is now part of CHRISTUS Spohn Health System and will be called CHRISTUS Surgical Hospital. The multi-specialty facility provides inpatient and outpatient surgical care in a convenient location which is connected to the CHRISTUS Spohn – South campus. CHRISTUS Surgical Hospital provides an additional 33 beds, 11 operating rooms and other complementary services, along with over 200 associates to the CHRISTUS Spohn – South campus.
