Laci Lasater has vaccinated thousands in her community. She both helped coordinated the drive-through vaccine clinics in early 2021 and hosted community members for their shot at the CHRISTUS Spohn -- Kleberg conference room table during the late summer surge. Laci has been a true asset in the push to get our community protected from COVID-19.
Her staff, friends, and neighbors have not only trusted Laci to administer their vaccine (the rumor she has a "light touch"), they have trusted her to openly and honestly answer their questions about the safety, efficacy, and origin of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Not only has Laci been a cheerleader for community safety, but she has been a tireless advocate for the CHRISTUS Spohn clinical staff. She would say that she "couldn't do it without them," but they would say the same about her.
Laci says, "Having been born and raised in Kingsville, and spending the last 18 years of my life working for CHRISTUS Spohn Kleberg, COVID in my Community is very personal for me. We know our patients, and it has been extremely difficult watching this resurgence of Covid, both in our community and within the walls of our hospital. We can feel defeated by this Virus, but every vaccine we can give is what gives us hope for better days. Our entire Health Care Team has been courageous, dedicated, and steadfast, and we often find our strength in each other. Next to being a Mom to my four kids, being part of the Spohn Kleberg Team is not only my passion but my privilege."
We are honored to have a CNO that our community knows, loves, and trusts to walk alongside them in this time of uncertainty.
