Meet Abhishek Patel, MD

Dr. Abhishek Patel completed his pediatric critical care training in 2014 and joined CHRISTUS Children's as a pediatric intensivist. Dr. Patel is passionate about providing pediatric critical care in a multidisciplinary team setting. He encourages nurse-physician collaboration as well as family-centered nurse-led rounds.

Special interests/areas of expertise: Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), ultrasonography, patient safety and quality, ARDS
