Dr. Javier Monagas received his medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela, Jose Maria Vargas School of Medicine, Caracas, Venezuela. He completed his pediatric residency at Texas A&M University, Driscoll Children's Hospital, Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Monagas also completed fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at Children's Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Monagas is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics.Locations

Dr. Monagas is an amazing pediatric doctor. He really cares for the kids, it’s apparent in how he work and treats them. Gives them a voice.
Dr. Monagas is always patient, and truly answers all of my 1 million questions, and ALWAYS has patience! You can ask him I ask 1 million. Questions and he always answers them in detail.
