Dr. Strauss understands that patients have two reasons for seeking medical care: they are sick and want to get well, or are well and want to stay well.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Strauss prides himself on maintaining long-term relationships with both his patients and his staff, and providing the highest quality of exceptional and continuum care available, including same-day sick visits, wellness exams, including sports physicals, as well as managing acute and chronic illnesses.

Dr. Strauss is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Nueces County Medical Society. He received degrees in biology and chemistry from Purdue University, his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

He loves South Texas and enjoys the outdoors, including canoeing, bicycling and fishing.
