Meet Matei Petrescu, MD

After graduating from medical school in Romania, Dr. Matei Petrescu started his pediatric career at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston in 2007. With a special interest in medical education, he also completed a Master of Science in medical education at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands in 2016. Special interests include educational research, respiratory physiology, physician resilience. Hobbies: Hiking, swimming, and skiing.
