He related all my health concerns to my weight. He said I didn't need help losing weight, it was very ""simple concept"" eat less calories. Ignoring scientific proven facts of hormonal changes and stress causing weight gain.

I appreciate his taking time to explain carefully any possible issues, and corresponding medications thoroughly to me. Any questions I have are answered completely.

Dr. Nguyen has been my family doctor since he first started there. He provides excellent care. I moved to Austin several years ago. Because of the quality of care that he provides as long as I’m able to drive from Austin every 3 or 4 months I will continue seeing him.

I get sick often and wish I could be able to make my doctor’s visits sooner than four months,

It would be nice if he took the time to stop documenting and looked at me while I'm talking to him. I was in the office twice for two different events and he didn't address either as to how I'm doing with those events. I feel I'm being rushed so he can see his next patient.

I had several new symptoms that I had questions about, which were addressed.

Please see previous comments. This physician had no interest in interacting with me as a patient. I was only a computerized chart. When I expressed frustration that I was not getting the physical exam I had come to town for, he suggested that I was free to see another physician for that exam. That is what I intend to do. I will also seek a different internist for primary care; one who respects and treats patients as individuals and not as problem based modules.

My provider was distracted due to the network server being down. It took about 15 minutes into my visit for him to get into my EHR. This distraction led to him being frustrated and eventually rushed as he was now behind schedule for other patients as well. This was an IT issue that should have been avoided.

Tell the nurses not to announce your weight out loud when weighing you.

He is thorough and attentive.

It’s just my hearing problem that makes it difficult at times.

Dr. Nguyen takes time to answer all of my questions and always asks how I have been doing since he saw me last.

He is very proactive and makes sure all your vaccines are up to date to keep you well ! He returns all your calls in a timely manner when you have health questions or concerns !
