Meet Abigail Martinez, FNP-C

Abigail Martinez, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology. She began her career as a nurse practitioner, caring for patients at local hospitals and in the rural communities surrounding San Antonio. As a former migrant farm worker, she is especially passionate about helping the underserved population through specialty care. She believes each person is unique and that medical professionals have a responsibility to tailor care to those in need. She provides comprehensive care, assisting with the management of chronic conditions such as heart failure, valvular heart disease, and vascular heart disease. In her personal time, she is an active member of her community. She coaches her daughter’s cheerleading team, is a Sunday school teacher and volunteers at her church’s children’s ministry.
