Meet Adolfo Duron Jr., APRN, NNP-BC

Adolfo began his healthcare career in 2004 as a unit clerk in the NICU and administering newborn hearing tests. He graduated from Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. As a registered nurse, he cared for NICU babies and families in San Antonio and Laredo for nine years. In 2017, Adolfo graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston which giving him the opportunity to become a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner. Adolfo said, “My journey as a neonatal nurse practitioner has been both amazing and rewarding every step of the way. Caring for our future leaders and their families is truly a passion.” Adolfo’s hobbies include carpentry, soccer, and martial arts. He enjoys traveling with his family to explore natural wonders and to learn the history of new places.
