Meet Alexander Kraft, PsyD, MSCP

Dr. Kraft is a Prescribing Psychologist in Adult & Family Care and Pediatrics. He brings 18 years of clinical practice experience to Christus St Vincent, including expertise in medical psychology, evidence-based therapies, and behavioral medicine. He has held prescriptive authority in the Department of Defense as well as private practice. He earned his Doctorate in Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology / Argosy University, followed by a Behavioral Medicine Fellowship in Primary Care at VA Medical Center San Diego and UCSD Psychiatry. After several years of clinical practice he returned to graduate school and completed a Postdoctoral Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University followed by a Prescribing Psychologist residency at Buen Salud, Santa Teresa, NM.

As a prescriber, Dr. Kraft brings a uniquely integrative approach to patient care at Christus St. Vincent. In his leisure time he loves exploring his new home town, Santa Fe.
