Meet Alexandra Plyasova, MD

Dr. Alexandra Plyasova is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a strong foundation and a passion for lifestyle-focused care. She is now welcoming adult patients ages 18 and older in the San Antonio community.

Dr. Plyasova earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York, where she served as Chief Resident. Her background includes experience in both primary care and hospital-based medicine, giving her a well-rounded perspective on managing a wide range of adult health concerns.

Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, hormonal health (including PCOS), preventive care, and lifestyle medicine. She enjoys incorporating nutrition and exercise guidance into her care plans to support long-term wellness.  She believes in partnering with patients through education and open communication, helping them feel confident and informed in every step of their health journey.

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her husband and young son. Her personal interests reflect the same balanced, thoughtful approach she brings to her practice, where health is more than just medicine.
